Fantastic antique carved gilt wood buddha statue coming directly from the estate of a local interior designer.  Really outstanding color and patina.  According to the former owner, she purchased this many years ago in Thailand as an antique.  Judging from the underside, I do believe it has age, however I am not sure exactly how old.  

It seems to be constructed of a single piece of wood, with shrinkage around the core center.  The outer most rings of the wood has shrunk over time, which has caused the split seen on the front lower side.  

Outstanding gold patina to the surface with small round mirrored embellishments throughout.  The gold has taken on a beautiful patina over the years.

Condition:  Cracks due to shrinkage.  Some flaking of the gilt surface, but nothing major.  Gives a great look of age.
