Globe Wernicke Barrister Bookcase Document Organizer 16 Drawers RARE Oak

Rare document organizer for a stackable Globe Wernicke barrister bookcase.  This one is quite special because it once belonged to Someone in the J. Insley Blair or the Lorillard Family.  Blair was a gilded age millionaire and his wife was known as an important collector of American Antiques.  Some of the labels had names such as Nathalie, which could have been from either side of the family.

Each piece can be fully removed from the drawer and opens for storage of paper documents.  Case is oak and comes with the top oak piece.  This can rest on top of a desk to be used without any other barrister compartment.

Condition:  Normal wear from use.  Some light chips to the oak, such as on top surface.  Some ring pulls missing.  At least one flap on the front of a compartment had to be glued back in place.  Overall quite good condition for the age.  Nice patina with age.

Measurements:
16 1/4" H x 41 1/2" W x 13 1/2" D
