Ornate carved giltwood frame.

Provenance:  Coming directly from a wealthy local estate in which it descended in the family.  According to the last owner, the family was one of the first to settle the state of Massassachusetts.  

Condition:  Painting went through a restoraton in the past 20 years.  Previous restoration probably took place in the 1940s based on old labels.  Relined, varnished, new hardware added.  Overall very good condition.
