Great looking vintage roll top desk directly from a professionally decorated estate. Great lines and solid wood construction. Marked on the underside “Made in Sweden” as well as a maker’s mark. Writing surface sides out. These are found for sale in the $2500 range on 1stDibs.
Condition: Some chips to the veneer, such as one the bottom drawer. Some deep scratched to the roll top, not easily noticed. Bottom drawer had some residue, which had to be scrapped off. General wear from use. No key. One of the small compartment drawers was used to hold pencils and there is graphite staining to the interior.
Measurements: 38″H x 35-1/2″W x 18″D (closed); Writing surface extended: 17″, floor to writing surface: 27-1
