A quality large mahogany demilune sideboard coming directly from a wealthy Short Hills, NJ estate.  This piece descended in the Stewart Harthorn family, who were the founders of the Short Hills community.

I believe this is an early Baker piece, however it is unmarked.  I found two very similar examples by Baker with the same hidden compartment drawer, one with only a small sticker on the back side.  Unique brasses with shell, trident and spear motif.

Single drawer to front with two cabinet doors on either side behind eight false drawer fronts.  Oak secondary wood.  One hidden drawer compartment on the right side.

Condition:  Includes original keys to all three compartments.  General wear from use, but overall very good condition.  Some bubbling to the veneer on the lower front apron.  Light scratches on top surface.  Legs are sturdy.  Has been sitting in the same spot for many many years.

Measurements:

36″ H x 72 1/2″ W x 26 1/2″ D
