Stunning pair of LARGE shutters found in the attic of a local estate. Supposedly they came from a large Bernardsville, NJ mansion where they were on a large oversized bay window (think of an AJ Davis Country house).

These were in storage for many years, which allowed for them to not take on years and years of exterior paint, which usually destroys the working louvers. These are still all functioning for the most part, with old green paint. They are all jointed with mortise and tenon construction, made to last for many years. Large iron strap hinges give a great look. Could be used for many different things, great decorative effect for an interior.

Condition: Some of the louvers are damaged. At least one control rod is broken at one end. A good number of the louvers would need to be reattached with the control rod. General scuffs and wear.

Measurements:

92" H x 48" W (both together), each side is 24"W
