This chest is coming from an estate where it passed down in the family for many years.  The family was originally from Philadelphia.  There is a label on the back that says something to the extent that the piece came from the family homeplace, otherwise it is very hard to read.

I believe the feet are later and have been cut down.  There was a set of Victorian wood casters inside, which could be added for some height, or used as is.  Nice solid Mahogany top and sides with original brass pulls.

Chest was professionally restored in the past 50 years with new drawer runners, so operates smoothly.

Bargain price for such an old piece.
