A Cast Bronze Neoclassical Water Fountain, Italian Style 2 Boys on Fish 6′ H
Stunning solid bronze water fountain directly from a wealthy local estate. Apparently the former owners purchased this piece and never had it installed. It was found in the garage in perfect condition, never used or exposed to the elements.
Two pieces, the base with classical detailing and interior bowl enamel coated. The top portion featuring plume details with two boys riding fish and relief fish in the background. Water is transferred from the base to spray out the fish mouths. Top portion mounts to the base with three bolts (included)
The exact same fountain can be found on ebay listed for $7,000. This one can be purchased for a fraction of the price.
Base is signed “Leonardo Rossi,” which is not the artist, but a trademark used by an overseas company.
Excellent condition.
