Provenance: Restored in 1983 by Stremmel Galleries of Reno Nevada.
Coming from a wealthy Morristown, NJ mansion. Former owner purchased painting from a dealer in Far Hills, NJ, a major equestrian center in New Jersey. According to the dealer, the painting is a 19th century copy of an earlier painting.
Fine giltwood frame. Ideal of a den or formal living room.
Condition: Normal amounts of wear and surface grime consistent with age. Painting surface is a bit dry. Some waves to the canvas. Frame is high quality and custom.
