Outstanding Regency style bench by Maitland Smith made of solid steel with bronze medallions. Coming directly from a wealthy Short Hills, NJ estate where it sat in the entry hall since the 1990s. Comes with a set of custom pillows and cushion in a neutral green upholstery. Solid steel and very heavy. Extremely well made. Great lines and proportions.
Marked with the original Maitland Smith sticker on the underside. I assume this is a rare bench, as I have been unable to find another example for sale.
