Really outstanding vintage magazine rack by Maxwell-Phillip Product, New York, NY. The lines and form of this rack are stunning. Would go in the finest modern apartment today. The perfect accent piece for next to a sofa or chair. 

It reminds me of a Harvey Probber style, although I do not know the designer.

Condition: Brass has normal amounts of oxidation from years of use. Some wear at the base as well as spotting. The wicker wrapped handle is in excellent condition.
