A Copper Clad Cube Side Table Manner of Paul Evans 1970s Studio Arts & Crafts

$1,499.00

A rare and desirable cube side table in the manner of Paul Evans.

This piece is coming from an estate collection of a family who owned a large designer lighting business which also sold furniture and accessories.  They had many high end designer pieces from Widdicomb, Parzinger, etc. and were very large in the 1970s.  Although this table appears to be signed "PE", I have been told that is is not by Paul Evans.  It does date to the 1970s, but was made by an unknown artist.

6 pieces of square plywood clad in mixed metals including copper.  Each with rivets making decorative patterns.  Great patina with age.  Assembled with hinges on the interior, which allows it to be taken apart and broken down into 6 flat pieces for easy shipping.

Condition:  A few of the corners have minor damage from being dropped, etc.  General wear and scratches, consistent with age.  Overall condition is very good.  Great looking piece for a contemporary interior.

Measurements:
18 1/4" H x 18 1/2" W x 18" D
